Still scraching my head on this one... in the
Tiling Forum at TilersForums;
Started a job today tiling behind an aga, the women has travertine tiles, and wants them fixed brick bond, they are two different colours one light and one dark...But she ... -
Still scraching my head on this one...
Started a job today tiling behind an aga, the women has travertine tiles, and wants them fixed brick bond, they are two different colours one light and one dark...But she dosent want them laid, one dark one light or she dosent want two light tiles or two dark tiles together.....WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT

She can't have it both ways. She either has them alternating or has has to have them together. There are only 2 shades aren't there?

pmsl...from experience ,i once had a customer who never told me they wanted a pattern and that there were two different colours of tiles..guess what?....yes,i tiled a full wall with the one colour and had to rip it all off

Reminds me of the customer i had once tiled two large marble bathrooms lovely she said but i want clear grout when i told her it was not possible to buy it from anywhere she said maybe i will have it the same color as the tile background great i thought went ahead grouted it droped an invoice in only to be told no i have changed my mind can you take the grout out and replace it with clear please 76 sq mtrs 300 x 300 no i cant i told her well i will find someone else to do it and you are not getting paid which i didn't :Pete
