Default Taking up of ceramic floor tiles - advise please

Regarding my former post of having substandard ceramic tiles fitted to my kitchen floor. To take B & Q to the small claims court I will need to get a quote for having the tiles taken up and new ones fitted. Would a tiler take up the existing tiles or will I need to get in touch with a builder for this quote.

yes,if a tiler wants the job of laying your tiles he would lift the old ones and make good any damage to your floor, could be a bit costly,SORRY didnt read your previous thread, but depending on what your tiles are fixed onto it could be a pig of a job i.e concrete. But definately no need to employ a builder

The tiles are on concrete, about 8 sq. metres, how much do you reckon - roughly it would cost to take them up & make the floor good.. I need to throw a quote at B & Q
    Thanks

Karen..also you might have to consider that the new batch of tiles could be a totally different colour code to the first lot....so in theory this might have to be a total re-tile...

Iye, for B&Q id quote high. They do us no favours selling poor quality tiles! CJ's estimate seems fair and should cover most unforseen problems.
