Default Where is the support for the Midlands

Just seems to me that here in the Midlands we are getting a poor deal compared with the north and south.

On this forum we have various members of CTD giving input but where are the Midland CTD guys/girls ?

BAL are supported highly with Gaztech and Branty. I know Gaz would go out of his way to show someone a BAL product and is a credit to the company.

So far i havent even seen a bag of BAL supercover, let alone use it. We have had no input from Kings Norton (Birmingham) CTD......are they so busy?

If it werent for this forum i wouldnt know about half the new products out there. My independant supplier is useless when it comes to info. While the prices i get are keen, I would also like more feedback from them.

    Ok rant over !

ps I am at CTD Kings Norton tomorrow from 2pm, if you can come see me I will give you some Supercover samples..

You all better bring a bodyguard if you are coming on to my manor. And don’t leave that BAL van unattended or there will be no sponges left.

so is this freebies offer open to any poor pensioner ( okay a fire service pensioner) who happens along wearing a rather dirty 'frogeye tiling' tee shirt at 3pm?

    frogeye the scrounger

whoops 2pm - must get some glasses _ probably explains my 'poor tiling skills' can't see owt

Hi mark... same for me... except ppl trying to sell me advertising space... Just finished renovating my auntie's bathroom... that was a very good project got some more non tile related work to do for her too but it probably won't be until after the new year. Had two quotes to do one said I was too expensive and the other I never heard off again lol
Sorry things aren't going too well for you either

    Good morning workers!
Nice to meet 2 big players in the Midlands tiling game -
At least I know who's side I want to be on if it kicks off!

What a shame I had to go to pick the grandson up before the freebies were dished out.
Never mind - there will be other days - plus I still have my ardex T shirt and sponge from the last demo.

Unforunatley whitebeam, you're stuck with me.
All the supercover demos are done. Did an impromptu one at Pentagon Tiles Harlow. Apart from that, the next nearest would have been CTD Hampton.

encouragement is being given to the guys in the Midlands to get involved but they seem a reserved lot down there
CTD Kings Norton has an excellent team on the trade counter and is well worth checking out for those who have not visited the branch
