    Default Removing Grout

    Hi All

A customer has asked me to remove grout and regrout, not sure whether wall or floor. What is the best tool for this? I have a fein multimaster. From experience has anyone faced this and come to any conclusions. Is it a case of retiling?

    Thanks

    Howard

    Hello Howard,

You need to find out if its wall or floor first and the width of the grout joints. This governs the best and most efficient way of removal. I think Neale (Sir Ramic) posted a couple of Utube vids yesterday regarding grout removal. Have a quick look at them

Looks like a rotozip or the circular saw used in the removing and reinstalling grout video on youtube. Know where I could get one?

    Thanks
