    Default Uni Mat

    HI all
This is my first posting here
I've been told about a product from Blanke called Uni Mat (spelling?) that is used like Schluter Ditra but costs less. It is blue in color, with a plastic mesh / screen over round holes and fabric on bottom side like Ditra.
Has anyone used or knows of this product? What kind of thin set to use modified or unmodified?
This will be in a 3 season room over both cement and the new addition is 3/4" OSB and joists 16" oc, using 13 in. porcelain tile.
Thank you in advance for any help

According to USA spec when tiling to polyethylene mat you need to use an un-modified thinset adhesive when tiling with porcelain tiles....but here in the UK our spec allows us to use a modified adhesive onto polyethylene mat such as schluters ditra or durabase ci....so you need to seek advice off the supplier or manufacturer of the polyethylene mat.

OH! And welcome to tilers forums.co.uk...
