diamond floor in the

am new to the trade and feel like its going well but have a quote tommorow thats making me scratch my head.

Setting out should be quite straight forward, I would have thought. Unless there are any awkward cuts that I'm not aware of, I would find the centre of the room and then ping the datum lines (there was a recent post where some good advice for setting out diamond was explained, I'll see if I can find it in a minute
).
If you can nornally do a 7m2 floor straight set in a day, then I would have said that you should be able to achieve the diamond in 1 day too, but only you know how fast you work.

Go onto tradetiler web site and buy an angle finder this will really help to do the cuts.

thanks for advice on angle finder mate but really dont like using them , strangely i get a more acurate cut using a half tile to measure.
so it should be cracked in a day then, fingers crossed

Sounds to me like you just need to square off the hexagon before you start your setting out procedure and work from there.
