| tiling above an aga!!! | | hi there
late notice as job starts in about 8 hours, but i am tiling above an aga tomorrow. aga has been off for two days, and will stay off for at least 3 days after ifinish
design is two chickens on hand painted tiles either side of the flu.
thing i want to know is, should i use any special addy and grout in this area? the heat will not be mentally hot, but will be constant!!
any of your guys experience would be gratefully appreciated

Be prepared to feel a tad warm, even with the heat turned right down!! |

| Re: tiling above an aga!!! | | I've used tubbed no problem. The only hassle was they didn't shut the aga off as requested. Even with the covers down my dustsheets got burnt & forget the 'tad warm' comment, I sweated off a couple of pounds & had to 'grout & wipe off' in small areas due to the heat. I was a real old style aga. | | |
