    It means that they are claiming on thier house insurance for the cost of the work.

    Eg they may have had a kitchen fire and had to have a new kitchen fitted, so they claim on their house insurance, so the tiling you do will be paid for by the insurnace company.

    Have a quick search of the forum for insurance work, there are a few points you need to be aware of if you are going to undertake the work.

    Eg Some people pay and claim the money back from the insurance, some will expect the insurance company to pay you directly (excpet the excess if applicable) etc etc.....

    A lot of insurance companies are looking for vat reg co as well now.

    be prepared to wait a while for the cheque(although i have had the cheque up front most of the time) dependant on the company
