close kitchen sockets
hi all wondering if you can give me a hand here.
i'm doin my first kitchen next week and am struggling to find a way round the sockets. i can cut round sockets very easy but have only ever had to cut around 1 at a time, so in this kitchen there are 3 sockets right next to eachother about 1 or 2 mm apart.so how do u go about gettin round them top and bottom then just grout inbetween them.
cheers guys

Re: close kitchen sockets
No Andy, you have to cut the tiles properly around the patress otherwise you will have a gap between the sockets when you are finished. You can't just grout in between the socket faceplates.

Re: close kitchen sockets
If they are 1 or 2 mm apart then they should have enough plat in them to push them together.....if the back box's are that close then you will probably have nowt to stick a tile too.....

Re: close kitchen sockets
As Dave says, if they are that close you should be able to butt them together. If you cant cut around the patress then you may see a dark gap between the sockets when refitted. In the past i have put silicone in between if i had no other choice.
