fingers or tool??!!

Discuss fingers or tool??!! in the Tiling Forum at Tilers Forum; was gonna set this thread up as a poll (up to you dave!!) wondered where we all stood on "tooling" up the silicone!! do we use wet or soapy fingers?? ...

    Default fingers or tool??!!

    was gonna set this thread up as a poll (up to you dave!!)

    wondered where we all stood on "tooling" up the silicone!!

    do we use wet or soapy fingers??

    or do we prefer wet or soapy fancy tooling kit??

    soapy fingers for me!!! lol

    I have a few fancy tools, i also have some small wooden dowels which are pre shaped and soaked in a soapy liquid in small jar. I also use my finger ....soapy of course.

    tried all the fancy kits but soapy finger still works better for me...

    soapy fingers and tools, depends how big the bodged up gap is ive got to fill

    used the soapy finger for years (once was a window fitter)
    now use the fugi, since you dont use any water with it you
    can sort any mistakes straight away

    I've got the tools but I'm in the soapy finger club. In fact I'm going to have a go with a profiler again tomorrow and see if I can be converted.

    Just siliconed a massive kitchen up today.

    Finger and saliva is the future. Makes that end of day pint so much more worth it !!!
