    Default nightmare of a day

hi guys what a s**t day, priced a job up last week over the phone to lay slate onto concrete floor sounds simple enough went to look at the job and under the carpet was lino not concrete, told the customer it would have to come up said i would do it at a daily rate ,he said he would do it over the weekend ,turned up to day to find a half finished job spent today finishing his attempt, managed to get the lino and the backing up but was left lots of patches stuck to the concrete ,cant shift this without damaging the floor, left the customer to sort the rest out and call me when its done! does the floor have to be back to 100% concrete before you self level?

spoke to bal they said it all has to come up, but what is left is hardly worth scraping up the lino is gone, just a white paper like substance left that is pretty much flush with the floor thought if i keyed this then it would be fine

Use a heat gun to soften it up and scrape off......
