    Is it possible to wet cut slate, or is it ok to dry cut it (indoors) ?

    Hi had a room tiled the other day.
    The tiler was dry cutting the slate in the communal corridor.
    There was a lot of dust.
    I didn't realize how much until it was too late.
    Is that a normal thing to do?

    Have to wet cut.

    Also, Change the water frequently............as it clogs up the cutter. Its like bloody black tooth paste..........clings to everything

    Not really, Certainly would'nt be cutting dry with a grinder indoors would be outside all the time, A communal corridor no way
