Slate Tiler Required
Hi,
I have about 50 m2 worth of tiling to do in my flat.
I already have the slate.
I am going to put down fastwarm insulation and under floor heating.
Would it be possible to tile over this, or does it need a leveling compound poured over it.
I need it completed in the next couple of weeks if possible.
The flat is in London and is on the first floor.
Bedroom 12 m2
Hall 6.5 m2
Lounge 32.5 m2
It would have to be done on a room by room basis, as I have to prepare each room in turn.
regards,
James

Re: Slate Tiler Required
Hi pjtiler,
sub floor is concrete pour.
On top of that are joists. On the joists is green chipboard.
The chipboard is tongue and groove and screwed down.

Re: Slate Tiler Required
Insulation board, 6 mm or 10 mm?
Does self leveling compound need to be poured over the top?
How many bags would be required for 50 m2?
