bal flexi rapidest dry time

hi all,just done a small bathroom floor and ideally need to go back this evening and grout it as im away on jobs and cant get back to it after,whats the quickest drying time before you would advise getting on the tiles and grouting,,usually i leave till next day but i just cant with this one?? last tile was laid at 12pm today was gonna go back at 6pm?

Pot time on a standard rapid is around 20/30mins flex takes longer around 60mins.

These are pot times substrate plays a big part obviously on dry concrete the pot time is more accurate than on vinyl tiles.

We leave bags open overnight to get a quick time but the above are pretty close. Manufacturers data sheets will give it.

I think you can walk on it within 2hrs, so going back to grout at 6pm should be fine.

3 hour setting time for Rapiset Flexible,
2 hours for standard Rapidset and Supercover Rapidset.

Fair one !!................I use Nicobond so there is a difference, wasnt aware it was that great tho......

I think nicobond say between 2 and 3 hours for Rapidflex, and 1-2hrs for their Fast set ( non flexi )
So pretty similar.

I'm talking about setting times, mate

Pot life of Rapidset Flexible is 45 minutes, exactly the same as Rapidflex.

2 hrs is normally more than enough for grouting.
