Grout Sealants in the

Can anyone explain why grout sealant has to be applied after the grout has set using a dispenser? Are there any additives you can add that will repell ... -
Grout Sealants
Hi there
Can anyone explain why grout sealant has to be applied after the grout has set using a dispenser? Are there any additives you can add that will repell water for grout i.e seal the grout? I would like to look into developing an additive wondered whether there was any chance of this? Maybe one of the guys from the sponsors could shed some light on this! Wondered why it had not been done before. How many people seal their grout is their a market for it?
Know nothing about epoxy grout characteristics maybe someone could explain the difference.
