Fibre optics
Any one heard of this..
I know a tiler who was asked to lay some tiles in a big hallway then asked to come back in a few day before he grouted. Fibre optics had been laid in the joints of the tiles and were left with the ends protruding from the tile joints all over the floor, When the floor was grouted and set the optics were cut flush with grout, So giving a starry hallway

Re: Fibre optics
No i havent but a while back i was asked about it from a client and i did a lot of research and spoke to various companies. It is a no brainer to actually fit these systems but you would still need a qualified electrician to do final connection to mains unless its just a plug in system.
I have fitted low voltage lights in floors but they were not fibre optic and the lenses were quite big. I didnt like it, the client thought they were great though and thats what counts.
