    Default Kitchen Islands

    Hi All,

When tiling a kitchen floor that has a free standing island, do you try and centre this in the setting out as its the focal point? Problem I have is its way off centre in relation to the room and centering it could cause problems elsewhere.

    Cheers ,

    Mark

    Hi Cush 68,

In setting out you will have to comprmise somwhere esspecially if the island is not centre and you will never get equal cutts everywhere. Just try not get any small cutts anywhere. Try looking at it from the customers point of view, where will the be likely to see first when entering the kitchen and make that view as good as possibile.

    Good luck.
