    Thumbs up Bellegrove ceramics

    Hi I use to use topps tiles for my adhesive and grout. After there price incress. I shopped around and found bellegrove ceramics in Dartford Kent.
    I just cant beleve the prices of there adhesive & grouts. They use Ultra and trims from tile rite. I got a bag of fexable rapidset adhesive 20kg £10.75, grout 5kg black flexable £5.48 and trims £1.00 for a 2.4mtr lenth 6 & 9mm. I havent used there wall adhesive when I have Ill let you now..

    Ultra Progrip HG is nice to use. Performs well and is good and cheap.

    I'm still not sure about the rapid set, though, I found it to be very dark and it goes from beig workable to rock 'ard in, what seemed like, a matter of seconds.

    I like their self levellers, too.

    you have to be quick with the rapid mate. great for small jobs when you need to grout fast

    Trade depot are doing 3 for 2 at the moment on thier Mapei adhesive. That works out at just over £8 a bag ( 20 k ) for grey flexy. Great pot life as well

    CTD are doing some great deals on Mapei products......like mapei d1 for £5 a tub...etc etc..

    Hi Dave yes CTD is my local shop but dont stock Mapei. Their deals are normally Weber products which Im not fond of. Dont know if youve heard of Stonefix ( www.stpuk.com ) grey thick bed ( 20 mm ) flexy £10 a bag

    I have heard of it but not tried it......

    You local CTD will order Mapei down from newcastle head branch for you....

    I used the rapid set and had now trouble. I mixed it up in a 10ltr wall adhesive bucket and yes it is quick at setting but thats a good thing if you want to get back on and grout...

    dont spread too much in one go mate it seems to skin over fairly quick

    Hi I see what you mean wayne thanks for that . I used the Ultra Progrip HG with puple lid and it held 300 x 300 porcelain with out any spacers. very good gear Very impressed as I am use to the sh*t topps tiles do.
