Ah yes the old days, how i long for those pinhole burns on all my fingers
and those aching knees for want of proper kneepads, that constantly runny nose from cold draughty job locations, that aching back from hauling 50kg bags of cement across muddy sites, the soaking of tiles in barrels of water
and then removing them with frostbitten fingers. If i could turn back time
i'd give it a miss

The best way to get rid of pin holes in your fingertips is to pee on them or so I was told. I never did it I swear.

To All newbies, Dont be jelous we dont have a clue what the older guy's like pj and sir ramic are talking about, 20 yrs from now we can talk about how we used to have to use spirit levels and grout floats,

There where none of your self leveling systems back then, it was all done by eye.

Cant wait

Great stories guy's i can tell we really do have a wealth of knowlage on here

That will be the time when the tiles jump to the walls by themselves and to the places following a 3-D-picture of the complete work shown by a beamer on site. I should go for inventing anti-gravity addy

You get what you pay for.
