How was it done did you blow up image then get outline and then dry lay. Are they tiled onto board or are they ready to be tiled onto wall? Just interested seeing something different for a change.

I have never sold one I just do them for fun. I have had one or two people say I should put them in a gallery and see if they sell but I think it would be to expensive giving the price of the tiles and the time it takes to do one. But thanks for all the good comments boys really appreciated

This is a great USP and you would be mad not to sell it IMO. There will allways be someone willing to pay for stuff like that.

There are always people prepared to pay a premium price for a top job. Think of the things that the wealthy might go for, coats of arms, club emblems etc.

If I were you I'd work out a price that would make it worth your while to sell them, mate.
I have no doubt that someone would buy them.
Maybe even approach one of your local tile distributors. Those would make a fantastic feature in any showroom.

    Best of luck, mate.

Let us know what sort of price range you are hoping for when you work it out too.

Talk to any local tile showrooms and ask if they think there is a market out there for these.

I would be very surprised if there wasn't

If you can make a profit at those sort of prices, you should make a killing. All you need to do is find your market. The top prices will be for personalised ones, one-off assignments illustrating family members, crests, valued pets etc.

Ok I went to the local tile shop today they have not long opened in the area and are targeting the high end market I showed them my mosaics and they nearly sh*t a brick they want me to mount Marilyn as a display for the shop (how many people can say they’ve mounted Marilyn monroe) and it gets better they passed me a 35m2 floor and said if all goes well there is plenty moor coming up so all in all a very good day thanks lads.
