| porcelin for the 1st time!?!? | | hi guys, i posted about the same job earlier, but the customer has had a last minute change of mind!!
Im tiling a 30 m2 floor that has existing tiles on it-not sure what kind, but they are NOT glazed. I am using large glazed porcelin tiles(never used then before and would welcome any hints or tips about using them) as im told they can be tricky?
Im not that confident with my own speed and worry when not using tubbed ady that my batches will set on me! Which ady is best recommended for this situation?
The tiles are glazed black porcelin, with black grout requested- i presume a black ady would be best?
Thanks in advance

But you need to check the floor is suitable to tile over and the right prep work is done..... | Glad you said that Dave cos that is just about what I said in the previous similar question.
I also mentioned CTF3 with Admix 1, or Ardex X7G Plus. Same applies for porcelain for the Ardex though I don't think CTF3 is suitable for porcelain is it? |

| Re: porcelin for the 1st time!?!? | | You want a 10mm wheel in your dry cutter, score the tile heavier than you would ceramics and you need a short sharp snapping action to break the tile. | Varley |
