Default Sealing Polished Porcelain

Evening all,

I'm after some advice regarding CTD Polished Porcelain (Eagle) tiles. When purchasing I was told that they did not require sealing, I had hoped this would be confirmed on the packaging, but there's nothing on there to indicate any fitting/care instructions.
I've checked the manufacturers website, but that has not helped either. Searching on this forum seems to show that most people would recommend sealing PP, but I have not seen any mention of these specifc tiles. So my question to you guys is has anyone any experience of these tiles and is able to confirm if sealing is necessary?

The tiles are going to be fitted to the bathroom floor and walls.

Thanks,
Steve

as far as im aware all polished porcelain needs sealing prior to grouting as the polishing process creates micropores that that the grout can get into and make them very very hard to clean, also watch out for tiles that have a wax coating on that needs cleaning off after fixing but before sealing that a lot of manufacturers seem to be using now

Thanks for your replies

Do any manufacturers pre-seal their tiles? I've been looking at the edge of my tiles more closely and it appears as though there is already evidence of something having soaked into the tile surface. I don't think it's wax as it doesn't come off when solvent is applied.
