boredom is a state of mind. i don't know what wise man said that, but i agree with it.
i like tiling, i could happily stick tiles on day and night till the cows come home....but i HATE grouting. i only find the will power to do it because it's right before you get paid, LOL

You should try drilling.... Now THATS boring (no pun intended)

150 holes in one weekend. 7 hours of actual solid drilling time.

Never been so bored in all me life.

I well and truly second that!

I also love the satisfaction from the job well done.
Of course there can be a heap of stress along the way, but I've yet to be truly "bored".

It can be at times if you are doing the same thing over and over again, but overall I find it very rewarding.

You should try and strive for perffection, think how can i make this job better than the last,

How can I be more efficient, work quickly and improve the standard.

Yes it can also get very lonely too, a radio is a must.

For a while there all i seemed to be doing was kitchen splashbacks and I felt all I had to do was turn up and do the job, couldn't see any problems and my standards probably slipped just a wee bit (not that anyone complained) I just thought I could do better and at that point for the first time iI didn't seem to have any buzz abouut the job, so I decided to improve my overall game , end finish, work cleaner and more efficient and I felt a lot better.

Standards in tiling are infinite you can alwas do better, sorry to be so blunt about this ninjatiler but ether you are a very good tiler are you think you are a very good tiler.
