Default what screws to use for plying out

hi all just getting a load a kit together and some handy bits and peices to hand.wondering really what is the best type of screw you guys use and the length of them to enable to screw through a plyed out room into floorbords without going through both lots and into a possible pipe.cheers all

25mm turbo screw from screwfix,that should do the job.

hi read somewhere 12mm ply you use 25mm and 18mm 30mm turbo gold screws are these no6 ??? also do you stagger ply joints even in a small bathroom 2mtr by 3 mtr,and do you put tile adhesive in the butt edges many thx in advance

It is wise to use a screw no longer than the ply thickness + the substrate thickness added together......

How about tacking? Curious? Theres a tack from tackwise which goes in and twists, apparentley unable to come back out. Any thoughts?

there called angular ring nails and they DO come loose

No, i'm not talking about annular ring nails.
These are 'Divergent point staples' , they twist as they enter the timber creating greater retention.
I'll look into them and let you know.
