Default cameras...

Does anyone use anything out of the ordinary to take pics of their work?

I use a pretty standard Sony digital camera, but I'd love something like estate agents use with a fish-eye type lense to capture more of the 6'x6' bathrooms!

I hear; I forget
I see; I remember
I do; and I understand.

I have never been big on taking pics of my work.
I never been asled for any pics from a customer, so never seen the point.
When I used to post on Moz's site, I took a few with my phone camera, but I was, rightly, mocked for my poor camera work. So I never bothered after a few attempts

I keep meaning to take some pics of work with my propper camera but always forget to take it, though I do use my phone, it's more to show the missus if shes interested anyway, and I don't have the leads for it to upload them either.

Though I've got a new phone today but not opened the box yet to see if i get cables in.

I use my standard Canon compact camera but like you have found that even at it's most zoomed-out it's not good enough for small bathrooms.

Having only just started tiling I've been taking pictures of every job and have even given customers copies of before and after photos on a CD - it costs nothing and it just adds to the service. The photos are a good record for me. I can go back and remind myself how something looked, I can show prospective customers the quality of my work and in some cases it helps them visualise the finished product.

Mark.
