I have to say the worst tiles I have fixed in my short career came from Topps. They were turkish porcelain. Don't think they used a square when they made the moulds!!

LOL i tiled my own bathroom floor with B&Q specials because they were so cheap .... i had to forget spacers half way through because they were all different sizes. some of the grout lines are slightly wonky but you cant tell unless you get the straight edge out. If you were to try a large area with them life, could get very tricky.
got to be a real artist to work with them.

LOL gumpy i have had a few in my time that were not square either , or even some that were completely warped... i mean see-sawing on a flat wall ???
There is only one course of action, moan about their irregularity to the customer and lead them into believing you are doing an unbelievably amazing job under terrible working conditions

Wot is it with these BnQ customers.

Cheapo tiles.............And then they nearly fill there undies when you tell them the cost to lay them. Think there mindset is "Cheap tiles........equals cheap price to lay"

I like seeing the look on the faces when they tell me that the dirty great pile of tiles sitting in there garage was only £165........................but for me to lay them...........its £750

    Totally agree CJ.
I realised the idiocy of it all last year when asked to fit a B&Q bathroom suite.
They had paid £300 for WC / Basin / Bath.
    I wanted £550 for fitting.
They actually said: "but that's ridiculous - we only paid £300 for the whole suite!"

I stopped fitting bathrooms after that!
