floor tiles on walls
Hi guys been to see a customer today wanting floor tiles on the wall, they are ceramic 330X330 & 8.5mm thick, said it is ok,im going to use rapidset flexi and a 10mm trowel, can you jst confirm this is ok, or would i get away with a 6mm trowel.......cheers Graham

Re: floor tiles on walls
6mm might be pushing it a bit. Try it with 6mm and set a few tiles and see what coverage you get. You can always take 'em off and re-do with a bigger trowel.

Re: floor tiles on walls
Would have thought a 6mm trowel would be fine as long as you used bagged addy........

Re: floor tiles on walls
Personally i would use 8mm min......and use standard set cement based flexi....will be less wasted adhesive when doing walls , as they can be slower than floors...so you might lose adhesive using rapid set...
