Default Evenness of a tiled floor

What is an acceptable level of evenness across floor and wall tiles ? Is there any industry standard that anyone can quote me

Default Re: Evenness of a tiled floor

Evenness now thers a good word

IMO - floors when tiled should be flat, I dont mean level as this is usually impossible due to thresholds etc, I mean flat to walk on with no dips and rises or lippage. (lippage can be difficult to eliminate when using some stones but must be kept to an acceptable level)
