Oh yeah, the car version is group 16 insurance, as this is a CDV (Car Derived Van) it's a group 4!!!!
I think they only made about 300 of these.

Tim Westwood, would be proud of you.
Not for me, for many reasons, I'd prefer a simple run of the mill van.
But, whatever floats yer boat, as they say

Re: My van
Cheers mate, I wanted a car but needed a van, this was my best option. Can get everything I need in it and I also have a roof rack.

Re: My van
Also when it gets sign written, perfect advertising board, people notice it, and as it's a car, I keep it clean and polished. I think if I had a traditional van, I wouldn't keep it clean, also I never liked the interior of vans, to plain, I get Air Con, part leather seats and all the comfort of a car.

I would have went for a double cab pick up with a boxed loading area, if i was in your position.
But, I'm not a speed demon, so 143mph, means hee-haw to me

Double cab no good to me mate, too costly to run, don't go off road, and the tyres cost a fortune.
Top speed is just a figure, I have no speeding points (touches wood
) just ice to know I have a bit of poke if needed!

Re: My van
Do you need to go off road in a doublecab pick-up????
As for running costs, mpg would be pretty close to that, no?
You will also wish you had added 35mm to those springs, not taken it off, the first time you load it with your kit and a few 20kg bags of powder.
But it DOES look good

Why? What's wrong with a roof rack

Re: My van
I agree it looks like it would be a struggle to get things in, but trust me it all fits, easily, never had a problem with it.
As for load weights, with the uprated suspension and springs, even being lowered it handles the weight far better than the standard set up would ever do, as it's stiff it hardly moves, even fully loaded.
Down side is it's a little harsh on our roads, but all my cars have been, doesn't bother me.

Re: My van
Nowt wrong with a roof rack......but do you think it will do your street cred any good...
.......OH!! and what about it catching on the tail fin........?

Re: My van
I have a thule aero bar, only goes on when I need it, easy enough to take it off, also eats your mpg if you leave it on all the time., and the fin is fine, only thing is you can't go through car wash with it, not that I do, it would rip it off!

Re: My van
My wet saw is over 1200mm long - would never fit in.
Don't put a roof rack on, it will spoil it!
Otherwise very nice!
