Just in case anyone can help, quick toilet question.
We fitted the toilet today, Its a ROCA dual flush.
No leaks, and it flushes but when you open the lid you can see water running from the lip edge down into the toilet. Eventually of course the cistern level drops and it starts to fill up again.
Any ideas how to adjust / fix this?
Thanks

Re: Just in case anyone can help, quick toilet question.
All modern toilets bought today overflow back into the pan. Therefore if you adjust the float inside the cistern this will stop the overflow, also check and makesure that the floats runs free and is not pressed against the side of the cistern. On the inside wall of the cistern you should see a mark......this is the fill level......adjust the float so that the water fills to or slightly below this line. As a final check once you have made the adjustment flush the loo and check that the water flow stops on or sligtly below the mark.

Re: Just in case anyone can help, quick toilet question.
Like Theyomper said modern loos overflow into the pan so it could be that, look to see if the cistern is overfilling and then overflowing into a tube in the centre of the flush mechanism. If not, then another thing is that, instead of a syphon they use whats called a "dump" valve, appropriate really, which is basically a rubber washer sitting snug on top of a round hole, holding the water in the cistern, its right at the bottom of the flush mechanism. When you push the flush button the washer lifts and lets the water go, now if the washer doesn't sit back down properly then the valve will let water by. You could have some muck in there or the valve might not be dropping down properly. Also is this a close coupled loo. On concealed cisterns with a plastic flush pipe you can get a similar problem if the flush pipe is pushed to far up into the cistern, it pushs the dump valve open and lets water by.
