Ok people what cover have you got, 1 or 2 million?
I am a tiler and decorator, so what would you go for, I am thinking 1million is plenty, any other views?

i do tiling and plastering and im covered for a million plus tools so i think a million should be alright for decorating aswell

but soon ill be doing bathroom installs and plumbing so i will need a bigger cover

Cheers mate, I think 1million should be fine too, just used the link on here and got a quote which was about £75 I think, not bad considering it covers both jobs. Don't need tool cover, there are removed at every opportunity, only in the van when I go to and leave a job, stored in a locked cabinet in a locked garage any other time

2 million, but not as because I asked - just came that way, cheaper than other Companies 1 million cover.

(I play with pipes sometimes so 2 million may come close to covering the damage I could potentially cause if I'm having a "Norman Wisdom" day!)

I think Tilers Forums Tiler's Liability Insurance - Liability Insurance for Tilers i standard as 1mil. But if you are doing other bits and bobs it's very wise to go for more, or at least declare the extra bits on the insurance.

Just got my policy from the quotation thingy on here, only £57 for 1 mill cover, cheaper than my renewal and cheaper than quite a few I've just done online, so happy days

i've got 2 million with zurich.........£98 tiling / plumbing (not gas) cheapest i found,& i must of tried everyne cos i'm tighter than a ducks arse!

Combined policy. Jacked it up from £1m at the request of a potential trade customer and just as well because the trade shows ask for a £2m minimum.
