Goodbye.
Hello guy and girls on the tilers forum.
This is a message to say goodbye. I have been placed on consultation ending August 8th facing redundancy.
We will no longer be in the contact centre for CTD.
It has been good being on here.
I will keep my account open as i will still pop in now and then but as for advice on trade cards with CTD or any other CTD issues i can no longer help.
So i guess this is goodbye and see you around.
Marie.

Re: Goodbye.
Hi ya.
Yeah me and Hayley are gone.
Looking round for something new but don't know what to do. Don't want to be picky as i have bills to pay but at the same time don't want to rush into something else and be in the same boat in a few months due to the credit crunch.
Thanks for all the goodbyes.
Cheers.

Re: Goodbye.
Marie so sorry for the news. I was planning on coming to see you with the view to the CTD account but that doesnt look likely now.
I've been made redundant myself in the past and I know how it feels. So I know the words "good luck" might sound hollow from a stranger but I genuinely mean it.

Re: Goodbye.
Good luck for the future Marie,
Try and treat it as a positive. I have been made redundant twice...
1st time I was out of work for 6 months (stressed to the hilt with mounting bills), then along came a cracking job offer which resulted in a significant income boost over my previous role.
2nd time I decided to use the pay off to train as a tiler and am enjoying a seriously better way of life now!
I know it's easy for me to say but sometimes these things can be for the better!
Best of luck!!

Re: Goodbye.
Thanks for everyone replies.
Trying to look on it as a positive and get my teeth into something new.
Joing lots of agencies and visiting the job centre regular so its aonly a matter of time.
Was made reduntdent before i joined CTD so i have been through the process before, just gotta keep my chin up and believe the saying. "There is light at the end of the tunnel".
