    Exclamation Travertine Help

    Hi
I am new to this tile business. I have Honed and Filled Travertine tiles in my kitchen and the filling from the holes started to pop out. They are not big holes and not every tile effected but it looks like needs to be fixed. I have sealed them 4 times (but I am starting to think maybe over did) and I used Flash to clean them (which maybe another bad idea - I am told those cleaners effect the filling and soften them so they pop out - dont know if true).
How can I restore these? Just fill them with white grout or mixture of grout and adhesive? Any ideas.
    Thanks

Flash cleans baths without scratching......says nothing about travertine

If its light trav then ultracolor jasmine grout would be the best bet, mix a little up and back fill the holes with it over filling them. Leave it to nearly dry then take off flush with a stanley blade.

    Popping happens its not unusual

    Thanks wetdec
So what do you guys recommend to clean travertine with? I was told just soapy water will do. Also shall I reseal those hole bits after refilling them with grout?
    Thanks

Give it a good sweep first preferably with an anti static spray on a dry flat mop. Then any PH neutral cleaner mixed with plain water in a bucket as directed and a damp mop
