    Looking to buy an accurate box level 600mm and also maybe a 1200 too without breaking the bank as the one i used on my last job was a peice of crap and almost caused a serious problem.I have saw Forge Steel one on screwfix and was wondering if they were any good??

    I use stabila, Paid just over £40 for a 6 foot. Would'nt go cheap on levels, like you say can cause a few problems. Hav,nt and would,nt buy a forge, To cheap IMO

    Stabila seam to be quite expensive, What fisco level is good as i typed it in and theres a few? what can u expect to pay for a fisco?

    Is any level with "Accurate to 0.5mm/m. Overhead accuracy 0.75mm/m" good or does the make still come into it? i know stabila seems to be ur fav and fisco so will defo be between those 2 but both specs are the same so am unsure

    I use AMI levels. Accuracy 0.05mm/M either way up!

    A lot of it is the way the level is treated after purchase IMO. It can be as accurate as you want but mistreat it and it wont stay that way. I made a slide in box for mine in the van
