Tiles on tiles
Hi all.In the midle of 3 en-suite bathrooms 3.5-4.5m2 each .2 have been retiled, with tile on tile which have lifted and cracked and the customer wanted all 3 rooms taking back to the original floors and start afresh. The 2nd layer hasn't been a problem to remove but the original tiles which are on chip board and been down 8 years are stuck like the proverial to a blanket. It has taken nearly a day apiece with a bolster chisel and 4lb lump hammer as just break in to llittle bit.
As any one a tried and tested method apart from the above !!!!!!!!!!!
