adhesives to stick ceramic to to polised granite floor????
hi again,
ive got a situation where my customer needs to fix a toilet to a polished granite tiled floor. we cant screw it down as theres undertile heating under it! (what the customer asked for!) can anyone reccomend anything to fix it to the floor with as his plumber has tried a few things that dont work and we've all been left scratching our heads!
Thanks

Re: adhesives to stick ceramic to to polised granite floor????
It shouldn't have UFH under it.......your not supposed to cover up tiles that have UFH installed......might cause the UFH to over heat etc......just a thought....as for sticking it down....liquid nails....

Dave, I don't think the "ceramics" in the title are tiles. I think he means the ceramic toilet pan.
I would use good quality silicone to glue the toilet down. Others may suggest something like pinkgrip, but silicone works well and is far easier to remove if needs be.
