Costing
Is it wrong to ask on this forum about costing / pricing a job and what should be roughly a fair price /going rate ? Only ask as this is my first job and want to be sure I get it right, .....but dont want to start a pricing war, I realise it may differ from tiler to tiler and area to area. Anyway small L shaped shower room total just under 3 s/mtr, rip out old tiles, make good floor, ie backerboard (or prime not sure yet) fix and grout new ceramic floor tiles (30x30) to floor around toilet, shower cubile base and sink pedastal and grout. Customer has tiles. I have to get everything else, the customer not paying, but a firm specalising in insurance work have asked me to quote and all of a sudden my brain has turned to mush! any pointers welcome.

Re: Costing
As this forum is open to public gaze, we try not to go into pricing too much on here. it is usually discussed in the "arms" which you don't have access to yet.
What area are you from?

Re: Costing
No problem Hems. You might want to wait a while for other guys form down your way come on line. I am form just about as far away as you can get from you in the UK so the pricing here is different so I wouldn't want to mislead you.
