    Default how many tools

    hey folks,

as a plasterer i often just take my trowel , bucket, paint brush and levels with me on a job, i see alot of you guys talk about a really extensive range of tools for any paticular job.

question is really how mant tools did you start off with and were the rest just aquired over a period of time.

Am heading to Diamond soon and really just want a rough idea on how much i will realistically need to spend to make jobs comfortable.

    ta very much

    For most jobs you'll need...

    Wet cutters
    Dry cutters
    Power drill \ mixing drill
    Different sized notched trowels
    Grout floats
    Bucket trowels
    Spirit levels
    Stanley knife
    Sponges
    Sealer gun
    Tile nippers
    Tape measure
    Eye protection
    Tile Files
    Assorted screwdrivers
    Junior hacksaws
    Angle finder maybe
    Hammer
    Workbench
    Mitre block
    Radio

You'll probably find you need other stuff as you go along too, but that's roughly what I started off with
