good evening everyone, tiling over existing tiles in a bathroom soon,anything i should specifically now regarding this,ie preparation,around windows & what to do with existing tile trim,any help much appreciated... -

Mind out for thicknesses encroaching window frames, likewise with architrave around doorways. Ensure tiles you are going on to are sound, and if using large format tiles be careful not to exceed weight limits...Gaz

remember to leave plenty of drying time for the adhesive! read the instructions on the side of the tub, usually they say leave for 3 days before grouting..then state that drying times will be extended if the tiles are large or the temp is low.

Spot on neil, I would highly recommend powdered adhesives, this sets chemically and dosn't rely on the water dispersing through the wall or tile body for the setting or curing process.....Gaz
