Simple reason as people have already said, they are cheap.

Ha, now that is bad

I've had mixed results with B&Q tiles.

Some have been absolutly fine and others have been the worst I've ever used.
I find the floor tiles to be ok, might not be 100% perfect sizing but ok enough to get a good finish, small kitchen splashback tiles have been fine, but it's mainly been the bathroom kind of tiles that have been the worst for me... been like biscuits, press them to the wall and they snap in the middle, or even just holding then at one end and they have snapped with the weight of it's self

Used some Matt finish white 200x300 last week - mostly ok, though about 5 broke accross the tile as I cut the other way. Worst part was when grouting them I scraped the face of one lightly with my wedding ring...took about 10 minutes to get the mark off the tile...hope the plumber doesnt scratch any when he puts the shower cubicle up?!?!?!?
