Like your idea of saving time on the draining but this is not the way I would recommend anyone to do this! The radiators have to be lifted to get them of the brackets, you are putting pressure on the pipes to do this and increasing the chances of a leak. As for leaving the radiator on buckets, you must have really small buckets to allow the radiator to lay flat
If it's worked for you in the past, fair play mate, but I would have to agree with most, your insurance will most likely not cover you for this, and regardless of what the customer says about them allowing you to do this, if they have a leak when you're gone, I guarantee they will hunting you down for repair costs
I know people want to keep the customer happy, but if you explain the issues, they will understand and honestly, they will think more of you in your professional approach in these matters .
