When I used to tile (and I've never tiled alone, I worked for the father-in-law at the time) I used to love the range of jobs and talking to the customers about their homes and renovation projects and such-like. I wasn't paid much (some would say I was robbed lol) so it wasn't the cash.

I really liked the early finishes when one came along, but I hated the early starts when those came along - so that sort of levels its self off.

I now much prefer my desk duties I must say though. And my hands are nice and clean and look like they match my ages (they used to look like my Grandads hands when I'd only been tiling a few months even).
