I find it a lot easier to tile the floor first, then use 6' level and draw vertical lines up wall from floor joint!!

A lot of people will say lay the floor first(and are probably right),i personally do the walls first, after setting it all out correctly(obviously)

wall or floor, either way there'll be a compromise somewhere, just depends on what you consider your setting out priorities to be?

I prefer doing the floor 1st but i would make sure the walls were set out at the same time.

I would set out both the walls and floor. The one that I would start on would depend on how the setting out worked and what type of tile I was using.

With 600 x 600 porcelain, I would be more inclined to start with the floor.

Def floor 1st...no way are you gonna make floor and wall joints align up on opposing walls if you do walls 1st...cud end up with a twisted floor trying to make them meet. Do floor and cover up with sheets!...simple
