Think this could be useful for any tiler, incase you can`t cut outside if it is raining, you could do cutting in the back of you`r van, or boil the kettle

FAT PEOPLE ARE HARDER TO KIDNAPP
I've rigged an invertor up to a second van battery that in turn is linked to my main one this means my second one is getting charged whilst driving and I can use it without the van runningMine didn't come with a lady in a towel though.

I have a 2.2Kw jenny in the back of mine, great for those little jobs rather than reel out an extension cable.

I think i will having one of those ......![]()

Any ideas how long it lasts before rechargings needed ?

it just could be possible that this is "run" in your cigar lighter in the cockpit of your car, otherwise it may be a reachargeable jobbie, mine you anything is possible with electrics these days!
tut tut dave.....more ammo to throw at er indoors.........i'm upping the stakes bud!![]()

"Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes"
anyone know what power output its good for? might not be up to powering your electric cutter![]()
I'd guess it's a 12v car lighter to 240v invertor. If so, I don't see any reason it wouldn't power your saw, as long as the engine is running otherwise the drain will be huge if you're running a saw.
This could also lead to a security risk i.e. van being nicked if left running!
its jsut that ive seen power inverters before and most are rated at 300watt, but something like the plasplugs cutter is 650watt... would that just knacker the inverter? or make it struggle...
