Damaged Plaster

Hi Guys,
Got a bathroom to do where the client has removed old tiles and damaged the skim coat on top of the plasterboard above bath. He doesn't want the expense of a plasterer, am I right in thinking that I can repair the damaged skim with some rapid set and then tile on top with something like white star?(damaged areas are no bigger than hand size, but a fair few of them)

I take it that the plasterboard has'nt been damaged just 2-3mm of plaster has pulled off the board, Thats why I like using powdered adhesive. You don't say what size tiles your using but yes you could use powdered addy but I would prime the areas first.

Yeah use rapidset to fill in the holes, i did similar on my last job and worked a treat!

I did exactly the same not too long ago...

primed with primer g i think it was then cracked on to produce a decent finish in the end.
