surely the diagnostic check would of instantly picked up a fault with the sensor spunds like they didnt knwo what they were doing and hadn't set it up properly in the first place, what kind of duiagnostic check wouldnt find a fault like that

They told me that sometimes they have to check further than a tek 2 test then they wanted me to at least have the vehicle with half a tank of petrol in it£££ but i found out from a neighbor exactly what the problem was something as simple as a sensor, funny enuff i had to oreder the part from them as it was the only place to get one...i told them that i found it unbelievable they couldnt find the problem or was it just a trick of the trade..never again!!!

hmm either its seems odd having to burn off half a tank on tickover to diagonose a problem, i personally wouldnt trust them and steer clear, most likely trying to claim half a days wage for no reason. sounds to me they was just trying their luck to drain more money out of the customer, but who knows.
