Nice m8. Layed them just after x-mas on a kitchen floor, had no probs aswell. Doing their splash back now with b&q 10x20 white and black and their a nightmare. Sizes all over the place.

PjTiler, how much are these tiles cost from B&Q matey as I am close to buying some in white from Almurad in bradford which have a 1/4 meter squared coverage per tile. Does B&Q have a white version of these also?

I am not a professional tiler just a DIYer and was wondering which spacers to get for such large tiles. I like the idea of keeping the gaps short like you have done but then wondering how to grout the buggers without marring the glazed finish

    cheers

Looks a great job.............. and I'm somewhat relieved as I have 27 m being delivered next Saturday.
Mine are the 400's in black also white..........

im a DIY er so could I ask what size spacer you used here please as i really like the look but would that gap be too big in 400 size?

Also you say you sealed them i have got some Lithofin impregnator as thats what i was told to use could any give me some guidence on that issue please

I will over the moon if the job looks like yours brilliant

Looks a great job and nice to see grey grout!

White is dodgy on a floor becasue it gets so dirty.

lol come on give me benefit of doubt, im not a pro tiler so not spot on with the correct terms. So long as you understand what i mean

Regarding only £10 a box, are these seconds or something that they are cheap? The ones I was going to buy are £22 a box with less coverage (1 meter squared)

    cheers

Apologies if someone has already asked this question. I also had 20m2 of these tiles layed a couple of weeks ago, and the tiler has done a spot on job. My problem now is trying to seal them, I used the sealer recommended by B&Q, which is made by Plasplugs, this didn't dry and left me unable to touch it without leaving fingerprints all over. I managed to clean this off but wasted 8 hours of my life doing so. The tiles are not sealed now and are impossible to keep clean, every drop of water results in the tile having to be washed then buffed.
Can anyone advise me as to whether I need to clean the tiles with something before sealing, and if so which products to use for sealing and cleaning. Getting to the point where I'm considering pulling them up and starting again.
Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks.

B & Q have a rather rediculous ordering system in that.......if they have a couple of boxs on the shelf they wont order stuff to fullfil your order.

you just have to wait and see what comes in if it comes in at all !! on the strenght of that I changed my order from beige to white cos they had enough to fill the order.
