Discuss shuttering in the Tiling Forum at TilersForums; Got a job to tile a steps but customer wants the whole step area tiled,problem is it needs to be shuttered.Question is....under the top plato(tread step,landing area)there is a gap ...

    Default shuttering

    Got a job to tile a steps but customer wants the whole step area tiled,problem is it needs to be shuttered.Question is....under the top plato(tread step,landing area)there is a gap and was wondering which is the best way to shutter this area ..its about 20inchs high and about 3inchs deep....what do you recommend?

    He means 'framed with ply and have concrete or cement poured to 'fill and even' it out....

    that is what i mean Andy but what i did was buid them out with bricks and mortar and have turned out fine but dont think ill buid any walls..lol
