if your charging the customer for tanking then tank the full area for what tanking costs and the earnings from it you should be doing the full area
Thx for the advice much appreciated will definately be tanking from now on.
simple answer is no but you would need to use their fixings and joint system to make any comeback on ****panel should you have a problem

No it's another product from the other forum that starts with the same word, I think the software is just picking out the first bit and dealing with that. Gets a bit confusing I know.

Why the censorship gents ? not that bad of a material is it?![]()

Nothing to do with that fekin....it is just the censoring software picking up on very regular words and asterixng them out.....thanks for pointing it out.....![]()
Do you gents usually tank it if you use it that is.
thx

No i do not tank A q u a panels ..I don't see the need to in the domestic market....just tape all the exposed edges/joints etc......
I use water proof membranes anyway as this is a better job for showers IMO....but A q u a type panels do come in handy for hanging that extra weight on them......
Aqu@... that looks better![]()
Thx for the advice dave much appreciated has had me worried a bit over jobs i have done in the past but havent had a problem yet .
ted

I'm with Dave on the aguapanel, I would only seal and tape the joints too. That is the idea of this type of product in my opinion, it doesn't de-bond the tiles if it gets wet.
