IF the vinyls are well fixed then prime with SBR and tile with a flexible cement based adhesive within 24 hrs of priming...........

SBR is a bonding agent and will aid with the adhesion of cement based adhesives.........

just been to look at an identical job, 4.5 sq m over vinyl, fixed well, so rapid set flexible ok?
also, out of interest what was your quote?
told customer mine, little hallway leading into bathroom. pedestal and pan down so annoying cuts to do. 2 doorways to deal with, but pretty simple really!
anyway, put the quote in, customer gasped, and said "labourers only charge £80 a day"
annoyed me and stated that plumbers and sparkies charge £200 a day round my way.
anyway - what would you guys quote for this, porcelain tiles by the way
4.5sq m, onto vinyl, pan and pedestal cuts to do, pretty square room and hallyway leading into
cheers

i felt like saying get a labourer in - but got to hold your tongue i suppose.
I am not the quickest about, but have done too many jobs recently where i am just not making enough. will quote her £220 including mats on this job as she has annoyed me. Pretty expensive area where i live, chippys are £180 a day and i try to get £150.
we'll see what happens
